This may come as a surprise to some of our readers but survey data has shown that switching from smoking to vaping might actually improve your odds of landing a date.
The relationship website Match.com conducted a survey of its members and found that nearly 9 out of 10 respondents would prefer not to date a smoker. Respondents also indicated that they found it less acceptable to take a smoke break during a first date than it is to check one's phone or arrive late.
A survey conducted by Inogen found that both male and female nonsmokers were more likely to find that smoking makes someone less attractive than vaping. So if you're interested in dating a nonsmoker, your odds are better as a vaper than they are as a smoker.

Furthering this point, the survey found that 56% of women would not date a smoker, whereas only 46% of women indicated that they would not date a vaper. As for the men, 46% indicated that they would not date a smoker, whereas only 33% indicated that they would not date a vaper. So yet again we find that the odds of landing a date are better for vapers than they are for smokers.
