Why Vaping

An Alternative to Harmful Tobacco Cigarettes

Vaping is a relatively new technology, first invented in 2006. It will be a decades before any conclusive data can be formed about the long-term effects of vaping. At this point, we have to draw conclusions from current scientific studies and experts to establish whether vaping has the same potential as traditional cigarettes to damage health.

Let us give you a brief overview of the dangers of traditional cigarettes. The burning of tobacco has been proven to produce over 4000 chemicals of which 70 are Cancer Causing along with 100's of other Poisons. Here are a few you may have heard of: Benzene, Cyanide, Arsenic, Formaldehyde, Polonium, Tar. Although tobacco is extremely toxic and will kill 50% of those that consume it, most legislation freely allows the sale of Tobacco to all adults.

According to the World Health Organisation (WHO) Tobacco has been responsible for 100 million deaths throughout the 20th century and if the trends continue that number could be up to 1 billion by the end of this century. This is a frightening statistic that highlights the dangerous reality of tobacco.

Vaping, on the other hand, involves the inhaling of 3 primary components Propylene Glycol, Vegetable Glycerine and Nicotine (if requested) along with small amounts of flavourings. PG and VG are both widely used in the food and pharmaceutical industries and are relatively inert. They are used in other approved preparations for inhalation such as Asthma inhalers and Nicorette mist. As of March 2015, there is not a single piece of evidence that suggests PG or VG particulates are detrimental to respiratory function or circulation when aspirated.

Whilst it is very unlikely that Vaping is entirely healthy, some studies amongst the scientific community have begun to find that vaping may be a useful alternative to traditional tobacco. See below:

The following is an interesting segment shown by the BBC:
BBC – Trust me I’m a Doctor – Are Electronic Cigarettes Safe?

To date, there has not been a single study to show E-Cigarettes emit anywhere close to the cocktail of dangerous poisons and carcinogens that traditional tobacco contain.

We believe that smokers should be able to make an informed decision on whether they choose to Vape or not. E-Cigarettes are here to stay and although regulation will be important in the future people should not be excluded from making their choice today. The U.S.A, U.K, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Portugal and Greece amongst other countries have allowed E-Cigarettes (with nicotine) to be freely sold whilst a regulatory framework is created. This has given smokers an ability to move away from dangerous tobacco while governments work out the best way to create standards that best serve the population. Hopefully, governments will soon allow the equal retail sale of nicotine E-Liquid.

No Smell, No Smoke, No Ash

Vaping does not produce any unpleasant smells; so unlike smoke, it does not impregnate everything that it comes into contact with. The device won't soil clothes, carpets and furniture with the stale smell often associated with smoking and because there's no burning ash there's no risk of burning holes into your prized garments.

A World of Flavour Sensations

Vaper Empire stocks over 40 of the very best flavours on the market ranging from tobacco flavours, through citrus and sweet, to amazingly complex E-liquid creations. From our Classic Collection of old favourites to our Artisan Collection of advanced flavour combinations, there is a smorgasbord of choices for every taste and mood. We guarantee that all our flavours are of the highest quality created in a multi-million dollar clinical facility, identical to that of a pharmaceutical environment. This is reflected in the taste and the quality of our amazing vape. Don't fall for cheap imitations!

Is Vaping similar to Smoking?

Vaping uses completely different technology to smoking. Whilst smoking involves the burning of tobacco and the inhaling of dangerous 'smoke', vaping uses a battery to heat E-liquid which is then turned to vapour that is then inhaled.

Regulate your Nicotine Intake

One of the beautiful aspects of Vaping is that it gives you greater control of your nicotine intake and allows you to reduce (or increase) your intake if you so desire. We do various strengths of nicotine ranging from 0mg through to 24mg. Therefore it is plausible to reduce both the frequency of your smoking and the concentration of nicotine for vaping.

Vaper Empire does not consider our products a smoking cessation device, only an alternative to harmful tobacco cigarette smoking. We make no claims that our products can be used to help quit smoking. However certain experts believe electronic cigarettes can benefit in this fashion. Writer of the Fox News Medical column Doctor Keith Ablow, a revered psychiatrist, recently posted an in-depth article in which he acknowledges electronic cigarettes as an effective aid for patients unable to quit cold turkey.

“Since many of my patients have reported using electronic cigarettes to successfully stop smoking, I now recommend the devices to anyone who has tried to quit smoking cold turkey and failed. And I think it is time that other doctors do, too.”
