Secondhand vapor not harmful, according to scientists

One of the most debated issues about vaping is the potential danger of secondhand vaping.  Much like smokers, vape users have been subject to criticisms from the general population.

We all know that vaping isn't harmful by now- the scientific evidence is endless. But did you know the scientists have now proven that secondhand vapour has proven to have no effect on the level of pollution in the air? Because they have!

Cigarette smoke contains more than 4000 chemical compounds. Vapour, however, contains only a few ingredients and none of those produce harmful substances or negatively impact the air quality.

In a recent study published in the Public Library of Science, the data showed no detectable increase in air pollution! The researchers involved reported that they "observed no apparent difference in the weekly mean particle distribution between 43 homes reporting any electronic cigarette usage and those reporting none.” Ultimately, this means that vaping inside and outside has no effect on the quality of air, so you can vape freely inside without risk.

This means that although it isn't widely accepted to vape inside in Australia, it is proven to be extremely safe to do so- much more so than with cigarettes.
