Are Conflicts Of Interest Influencing Press For E-Cigs?

So not everyone is happy about the rise of electronic cigarettes and big pharmacy firms are grappling with the reduced sales of their smoking cessation products as cigarette users begin to embrace vaping. Dr Micheal Siegel, a professor at Boston University School of Public Health with over 25 years of experience in the tobacco field, provides us with evidence that Pfizer (makers of the hugely profitable Chantix, a prescription smoking cessation) funds anti-smoking groups in the U.S. to the sum of over 2.5 million dollars. This obviously provides a conflict of interest and organisations are releasing statements vilifying e-cigs despite their obvious potential benefit to the health of smokers that are unable to quit. It's a sad reality but please try to understand the facts before processing the scaremongering that will continue over the next few years.

Since we first published this article on our blog here at Vaper Empire back in 2013, there has been a considerable amount of scientific evidence published in peer-reviewed journals to support the use of e-cigarettes in quitting smoking. For instance, a study led by Professor Peter Hajek of Queen Mary University in London found vaping nicotine to be almost twice as effective as nicotine patches and nicotine gum when it came to helping smokers successfully quit smoking.

At Vaper Empire, we provide adult smokers with access to our own line of premium vaping products through our online vape store. All of our products are designed to be easy to use and we offer a range of e-juice flavours in a variety of different strengths. If you are a smoker who is ready to make the switch to vaping, you will find that our range of starter vape kits include everything that you need to start vaping.
